Q:   How long has Symmetry Remodeling been in business?
A:   As a partnership, Steve and Kerry have been in business over 11 years. Their combined remodeling experience totals over 50 years.

Q:   Who will act as project supervisor for my job?
A:   One of the founding partners, either Kerry O'Connor or Steve Vincent, will supervise all projects.

Q:   Who will be working on the project? Are your workers Symmetry employees or subcontractors?
A:   Symmetry Group performs all rough and finish carpentry tasks on all projects, as well as minor electrical and plumbing. All other required jobs are performed by licensed and insured professional subcontractors.

Q:   Does your company carry workers’ compensation and liability insurance?
A:   Yes, Symmetry Remodeling is insured and bonded.

Q:   May I have a list of references from previous projects?
A:   Symmetry Remodeling’s reference list is always available upon request.

Q:   May I have a list of business referrals or suppliers?
A:   We will supply referrals upon request.

Q:   What percentage of your business is repeat or referral business?
A:   As you will see by our references, we have worked on multiple projects in many of our customers’ homes. All of our past work has come as referrals.

Q:   Is Symmetry Group a member of any national trade associations?
A:   Symmetry Remodeling is a proud member of NKBA, the National Kitchen and Bath Association.

Q:   Have Symmetry’s partners or employees been certified in remodeling or had any special training or education?
A:   The state of Illinois does not require a building or remodeling contractor to be licensed or certified; however, Symmetry Group is licensed in the city of Evanston, which requires such certification. The founding partners participate in continuing education through local colleges and a professional association like NKBA.
